Hilary studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music and is an experienced teacher, currently at Blundells’ school.
She is also Musical Director of Wellington Operatic, Conductor of Wiveliscombe Community Choir, and peripatetic organist for the 10 Parishes. Hilary enjoys a variety of music, playing Baritone Sax with Reed Rage Sax Octet, Flautist with Frivolous Winds and Flying Folk.
Other work includes theatre pit playing for shows while spare time is spent in the garden. Her dog Tinker ensures there is never a dull moment!
Louise is a freelance musician/educator. She studied Clarinet and Cello at the London College of Music and Rolle College.
Work includes instrumental teaching, ensemble coaching, and a variety of music workshops. Louise plays Clarinet, Sax and Flute with Deane Big Band and for theatre pits - Clarinet/Sax for Reed Rage!, Frivolous Winds and loves Klezmer in Flying Folk.
Also co-manages Mosaic of Sound and Vision project. Louise is currently studying psychology with the OU – any chill out time is spent travelling.
Bex joined the team as administrator in 2014 and enjoys getting creative with the website design and posters etc as well as keeping everyone up to date on Facebook and email.
She grew up with music and plays Flute, vintage C-melody & C-soprano Sax, rarely Fiddle and Sings in Phantam Chic, occasionally in scratch ceilidh bands and regularly in pub sessions. She also plays Flute in Wiveliscombe Wind band and sings in Wiveliscombe Community Choir.
She has 3 children (1 of whom enjoys playing in High Park) her instrument maker husband, 2 cats, 1 cyclops dog and 2 Exmoor ponies.
Hilary, Louise and Bex all have current DBS (formerly CRB) certificates.
